The first step is to pass an Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports approved training course. I highly recommend beginning the process by applying with your local athletic commission to become an Inspector/Deputy Commissioner
No. The ABC does not "certify" officials. Passing a course shows athletic commissions you possess the basic knowledge needed to apply for licensure and begin your journey as a MMA Official.
No. Passing this course gets your name entered into the ABC database as a currently trained MMA Official. Local state athletic commissions decide who gets hired for sanctioned events.
